I am slowly but surely getting these Christmas pictures up here to share! Here are some pictures of Hector and his sheltie brothers Caesar and Troy from Christmas. Thanks to Denise L for sharing.. looks like those dogs were VERY good when you scroll down to see what Santa Paws brought them!

Here are some of the great Christmas shots of Sampson and Aslan, their little sheltie sister Pippy, and their owners Mary and Alena! Sent to us from mom Sue.. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful with those creative outfits, and I believe Sue said they won most creative for the Pappa, Mama and baby bear costumes at the Christmas party! Looks like everyone had fun!

And here are some pictures of Gabby.. looks like she fell asleep waiting for Santa Clause to get there! Thanks Maria for the pictures!!

Thank you Rose for sharing this lovely set of pictures of Cricket taken on South Padre Island. It is time to update the main web page and one of these will be our new picture of the month. Stay tuned for more Christmas pictures, we have some now of Gabby, Hector and friends, Regis and Kiwi, Genni, Sampson and Aslan and maybe some more, I have to check. As soon as they are scanned and sized I will share!

I received some Christmas pictures from our "grown up" pups, and am just getting them scanned into the computer, or saved from the emails. I wanted to put these 2 dog's pictures up now, tho as I have been getting people interested in the upcoming breedings and wanting to know what the sable merles might look like. Sable Merles are like snowflakes, no two alike!! This first picture is of Drifter, with his big sister Collie Spirit, Dave ran them in agility at the Cleveland Christmas Classic, and I took their picture. Isn't it cute that Spirit seems to be smiling at the decorations? Anyway..The second picture is Drifter showing his colors, and the lower 2 pictures are of Drifter's litter mate, Halo. Drifter and Halo were the only 2 merles in that litter, the rest of the pups were regular sables. You can see there is a world of difference, the only hint that Halo is a merle is a little bit of lighter hair on the one side of his face, the rest of him is colored just like a normal sable. Drifter is all flash and dash, with tons of white and marbling of color. I am just this week doing a breeding that will be genetically nearly identical to L4 (same father, mothers are full sisters) so we will see what we get!

This is Halo below, and with his big sister Angel in the lowest picture

Well, the bath must have helped Darby a LITTLE, not only was he the most beautiful sheltie running yesterday, but he qualified for 3 of his 5 runs, with first place ribbons all the way! One course has a standard course time of 46 sec and we nailed it in 21.1 seconds, with a clean run, no faults. yeeehawww.. now on to bath the rest of these heathens...
