Woof.. Dew-oh here.. just wanted to thank my sista Shelby and her girl Kalyn for the "get well" card, all the prayers and a new picture of them!! aaaahhhhh woooooo thank yoooouuuu...

Here are some Pictures of Maxwell, he is one of the pups from out last litter, the one I had called "Derrick" while he was here. Looks like at 6 months old, he too has quite a coat! Thanks to Nadine and Joe for the updates!!

Oh look look.. Bob Barlo's Pedigrees of New AKC Champions and Advanced Obedience Titlists as found in the July 2007 AKC AWARDS issue list is out for the new month!! BIG HAPPY GRIN!! Check it out.. http://www.barloshelties.com/
(Vista Dei Luvme Like a Rock MX, MXJ, NF "Regis") Happy dancin' makes me so proud as a breeder to have one of "ours" permanately in the sheltie history books again!!.. yessssss...
Weather has been far too nice to be inside at the computer, hope everyone who usually reads our adventures is outside playing with their dogs and having a great SUMMER..
Before the weekend is over, want to congratulate last weeks winners, Genni and Shawn finished their NJP title with a FIRST PLACE again ran a 41second course in 23 seconds. SUPER GUYS! WAY TO GO.. hope we all got in the July runs, I can't wait to watch you again.
Christy wrote that "Tim and Regis got one more QQ on Saturday. His time in Std was 43.27 sec (SCT 65). His time in JWW was 28.61 sec (SCT 43). That makes 11 QQs and 744 MACH points!" YEAH!! more than half way now... enjoy your much deserved break for the next few weeks!!!
Update on Dew-oh is that she slowly continues to improve! If you saw her walk on the level you probably wouldn't notice that she had a problem. She is attempting to re-learn the steps, that is very hard, she gets all four feet up on one step with her body sideways and then tries the next, but once she did get up all 3 onto the porch, so I am glad to see her try!
Destiny has been staying over for a few days while my daughter is on vacation, so again, getting nothing done around the house as I enjoy playing with the dogs, and watching them run the yard. She is having a great time. Several of our girls are in heat, so it is the old, baby gate and switch trick again. I am re-doing the van for the crates. I am hoping to find a method that makes it easier to get the xpens out without taking the crates loose. Plan A, B and C didn't work as I had hoped.. I think I will be at plans X, Y and Z tomarrow!!
I has been one of those weeks that was just too nice out to spend time on the computer, so I haven't been writing! Quick update.. First, Dew-oh actually stood on her hind legs last night, put her front paws on my leg and gave me kisses.. I was thrilled and now have hope she will get strenghth and control and someday be "normal" again! yahhhhh Had a good time last weekend, went to Dave and Denise's parents house for a cook out and took ALL 8 DOGS (they asked me to!! hahah) and they brought their 3, so we had 11 dogs at a cook out!! hahah it was alot of work, but alot of fun too! Then I got home from that and found a great update from Christy and Tim about Regis... Saturday Regis had a nice FAST run with a score of 80 in 35.21 seconds and a 1st place! He now has 2 legs towards his OF title. Sunday he earned his 10th QQ! He's halfway there! He earned a 2nd place in STD with a time of 42.84 (SCT 63). He earned a 1st place in JWW with a time of 29.02 (SCT49). That now makes 709 MACH points!
Yipppeee!!! so proud of them and it has just been an all around good week here!
Time, time, time.. I am always out of time! The tracking at 5:30 AM isn't going to work out for Darby and I, not really very enjoyable at that time, and I want to have fun with it. Looking for another time frame to get a regular schedule of tracking. We had a great time at agility class on Wed, worked on some really hard sequences. Dew-oh is doing pretty good, not making tons of progress now, but is walking and doing a little running. She is starting to see a people Chiropractor who comes to agility trials and does dog work, he also has office time for dogs after hours, so we will see if he can help a little more. Darlin' is a BRAT.. she is still growing, now I am starting to worry she might be too large, certainly over 15" now, which is larger than I wanted for any females I keep, but she is so nice.. well we will see. She is really quite spoiled by the dogs and the people around her and just thinks she is the bee's knee's!! hahhaha I hope she finishes her UKC Championship this summer, I can't wait to teach her a little obedience work.. She sure isn't "soft" you can scold her, and she thinks about it for a minute and then bounces right back finding something else to get in trouble about... Lordy, lordy
Man am I tired after a long weekend of agility at Cheswick PA, but happy to announce it was a good weekend for the dogs from Vista Dei...
First, Breaking their slump Vista Dei The Storm Chaser NA,NAJ,2/3OAJ,1/3OA,1/3RN,CGC "Drifter" and Dave Qualified in Open Standard with a first place run. His time was 41.07 seconds on a course that had a 66 standard course time. and took home a nice blue ribbon! Just to show us all that wasn't a fluke, Dave went on with his Collie Spirit and finished her AXJ with another nice first place, now it is on to the quest for the "double Q's" toward their MACH. Way to go guys, sure was nice seeing those blue ribbons hanging on the Xpen again!!
Vista Dei Luvme Geneveive RN,NA,NAJ,2/3NJP,1/3NAP,CGC,TDI "Genni" and Shawn ran on Sunday this weekend and cleaned up with a qualifying run in Novice Perfered Jumpers and Novice Perfered Standard snagging blue ribbons with first place scores in each run.. woooo hoooooo.....
Vista Dei Luvme Like A Rock NA,NAJ,OA,OAJ,AX,AXJ,MXJ,MX,NF,1/3OF(9DQ's-641 MACH points) "Regis" and Tim had a nice weekend, on Friday was a heartbreaker on the standard course when the dog brushed past Tim's leg and was called as a NQ costing the double Q, but Regis did qualified in JWW with a time of 30.24 (SCT 45). Saturday Regis earned a 2nd place ribbon and his first leg in Open Fast with a perfect score of 80 in only 28.2 seconds. Sunday Regis QQ'd with a 3rd place in Standard and a time of 43.15 (SCT 66), and a time in JWW of 30.25 (SCT 44). That now makes 9 QQs and 641 MACH points! Way to go guys... almost to the down hill run towards that MACH!!
U-CH Sirius Stellar Performance CD,RN,NA,NAJ,NAP,NJP,1/3NF,CL2-R,CL2-H,CGC,OV "Darby" and I had a very nice weekend. We had 4 of our nicest runs ever tho they were NQ's for minor handling errors on my part, Darby nailed the 12 weaves with good speed and I really felt we made alot of progress towards our goals. He did Qualify for his first leg in FAST, so we did come home with a little tidbit of a ribbon and a leg towards a new title.. happy happy!!
So, now it is back to work, trying to groom the dogs and do their nails in my spare seconds between getting caught up on laundry and dishes and and and... wow, I need a vacation!
